I have no problem filling my tanks before I take my trip. But of cause if you’re in the middle of no where then you’re out of luck and that’s not saying your OBA might take a dump on you too. Go with what your needs are. What the hell!!! Get both!!!!

I like the way you think [emoji23]

Depends on your individual needs. I have a friend of my try to air up his 37’s with a OBA and first it took like 45 minutes to air up three and then the OBA overheated. If you have a shit loads of things to air up, then you should be thinking what system you’ll need before you take the trip. But for me to air up my stock tires on my ‘17 Raptor from 15 lbs to 35 lb there’s no problems and with air to spare. I suggest go on both website and check out what your needs are and compare. I also help my buddy air up his tire when he got a flat about 200 yards form where I was, I just grabbed my air tank and walked to him, with a OBA, you’re stuck unless he take off the tire and roll it to the OBA. You could also carry two tanks of air too.
Anyone that puts anything but a 100% duty cycle compressor on an off-road rig hasn’t done this before.

I have one of the dual compressor arbs hardwired, plus a 100% duty cycle viair in my spare parts bin in the bed.

I’d bring a tank full of nitrogen if I felt like I might need to play with shock charges but not for tires.

And when you mount it on the truck they look badass.
Oh yes I agree....
For the compressor/tank issue there isn't a best or not, there are good reasons for either...I'm running a 10lb tank left over from my last 2wd truck, but may go to a 15lb now that I'm airing down 4 tires instead of 2..I bought the digital scale from Power Tank so now it's quick and easy to know how much liquid is in any of my tanks...I will say this..if going to a compressor spend the extra money and get one with a 100% Duty Cycle as others have have stated...

Loutish, that’s a badass set up. I also running a 10 lb tank and most likely get an extra 10 lb tank for back up. I just picked up the Pro Eagle big wheel 3 ton jack. Love that jack, amazing pice of equipment.

We have both ProEagle jacks...went with the conventional wheeled for my truck because it takes up less room...The BigWheel one stays in our garage...
