Anyone Recognize this FL Gen 1 (2014)?

What a bummer of a day! I ended up driving a total of 650 miles and didn’t even come home with a new truck.

I walked from the first one for the reasons above. Honestly just got a bad feeling about it after seeing that they stuck it at the front of the lot without even running it through the shop. On top of that the sales guy totally lied to me on the phone about a few other items that I asked about prior to seeing the truck.

After walking from the first one I drove another 2.5 hours to see one that had just been taken on trade last night. Got there, did the test drive, pulled off the road to put it in 4wd and no go. Tried to switch it back to 2wd and big clunk, then message on dash to check 4wd system. To top it off it, the truck was from NJ and had more rust than I care for. Bummer because it only had 55k miles.

So the search continues!

Looking at another potential one that’s 2 hours away. Does this front bumper look like it’s taken a hit? No mention of it on the carfax.

It's definitely bent. Probably pulled too far forward at Starbucks and hit something at slow speed.

Charles Kelly had that exact truck when he was DC at Florida State here. Our daughters had gymnastics together. cant tell you if it was his or not.

Looking at another potential one that’s 2 hours away. Does this front bumper look like it’s taken a hit? No mention of it on the carfax.

Yes, bent. Looks exactly like mine after it got backed into in a parking lot. $3400 to replace bumper, paint upper trim, replace driving lights.

Needing some advice here. So I’ve worked a deal with the truck above with the dinged bumper. Nothing is signed yet but I’m making the 3 hour drive tomorrow to see it in person. I’ve FaceTimed with the sales guy and everything else looks good on the truck.

Part of the deal was that the dealer will have their “bumper guy” repair the bumper. There is no damage to the body above the bumper or any of the lighting.

Im starting to get the run around about their bumper guy and am not fully confident the bumper will be repairEd by the time I get there tomorrow. I’ve told them if the bumper is not done when I get there that I’m turning around and heading home.

That being said, if everything else on the truck is perfect, how easy of a repair is this for a body shop If i have to have someone do it on my own? I’m thinking it can just be heated and pulled back into place, but I could be way off. I’ve attached some more pictures of it below.

Obviously if the bumper isn’t done and I end up purchasing the truck anyway, I’ll have to negotiate more off the truck. I hate dealers LOL.

Don't let that little bend stop you. You can strap it a tree and straighten it yourself by backing the truck up. Easy Peasy. Or pick up a used bumper for a couple hundred bucks.
