I’m one of these people that likes to figure things out and also didn’t want anyone else to fall for this scam. I see scams on a weekly basis with my work and stop as many as I can. This one was a new one for me so kind of satisfied figuring out how he was able to do what he did. Also sent the real owner a link to this thread so we may gain a new member.

I get this. I'm the same way. I'm glad you followed through and figured it out. I've spent plenty of time on things that seem very unimportant just to figure out what was going on/how it works.

I actually thought about that but wanted to let everything settle for a bit. The difference between what he is asking and what I am willing to pay is a bit far apart but you never know.

I know you are [mostly] joking, but OP posted an update stating it is a fake address belonging to an elderly couple.

The real scam is that dealer selling it for $133K. Absurd. $20K ADM and still added on another $8K for labor.
