How are the bars attached?

Upon further review I think I actually went with Yakima on this set up (I was a bike rep so had MANY racks)

Yes Diamondback covers are expensive for sure. My brother in law just put a HD on his truck for the upcoming trapping season. He bought the kit to haul his 4 wheeler on top so he can put the fur in the box

Would there be anything similar to the BAK X4S with rails? I'm loving the rolling covers for waterproofing but struggle with a tonneau for bulkier items.
Unfortunately not unless you are wanting to go with the Retrax

NOW there are the Elevate TS rails that can be installed with the X4s that does give t-slot capability

I've got a smooth SE on order!

Also, for those of you who are active, reservist, veteran, and retired U.S. military personnel they offer a 10% discount!
I saw that! They are made right here in PA. Seriously considering going this route now. They also have some cool accessories to go with the covers like the cross bins

Yeah, I think the cross bin in combo with the ability to open the cab side half of the cover is one of the great selling points on top of the security and weight bearing aspects to the HD/SE.

Yea I was sold on the retrax but I think I am going with the DB HD now. Way more secure and also seems easier to remove if you need full bed space and more weather proof + additional storage on top + the accessories
