mine is a family hauler and looks cool at the grocery store truck. I have had clear bra on my previous Denali and it helped out in preventing chips etc. Looking to do the same with this one.

Maybe even a ceramic coating so washing is much easier.

There's multiple threads with more info on this in this sub-forum and the Exterior forum, but short answer is yes. I think most folks tend to go with Suntek Ultra vs XPEL. Coating wise people run the gamut from Ceramic Pro, CQuartz, GTechniq, etc. More folks than not seem to do a partial wrap for cost efficiency: full front end, b-pillars (if the instant swirls on those drive you nuts), and the rocker panels should get you the most ROI.

You're on the right track as far as using a Paint Protection Film and a Ceramic Coating and not instead of one another. Clear Bra Paint Protection Films are designed to stop rock chips, scratches, and more. While ceramic coatings as you mentioned, do add that ease of washing along with a hydrophobic quality and look. What most people will do is have a paint protection film installed, and then a ceramic coating on top of the film and the rest of the paint.

As your Raptor is a family hauler, be sure to get the wear & tear high impact areas protected too. What we mean by this is protecting the door cups and the door edges. The door cups so that fingernails and rings don't scratch the inner cup of the door handle, and the door edges so that if someone were to open their Raptor door into something, it won't damage your paint on the door edges.
