I reached out to these guys Off-road driving school. Overland recreational, professional and military training. 4x4 travel. — Overland Experts and it looks like they can setup a day of training (maybe even two if folks are interested). We would need at least six people on board at a cost of 150 per truck (including driver, additional people may be a small charge beyond the 150).

I was thinking of focusing more on recovery but the training topics can be tweaked a bit. The below links cover things in a bit more detail, but below is a quick look at the day long modules they offer.

Modules
1 - Fundamentals Off road and Overland Mobility - basics of the mechanics of 4x4 systems, understanding power distribution, basic terrain negotiation stage

2 - Recovery Stage 1- All forms of recovery (KERR) kinetic energy recovery rope, winch, hilift jack

3 - Terrain Negotiation stage 2 - More advanced obstacles, use of lockers, sand, bigger rock and deeper water, etc.

4 - Recovery Stage 2 - advanced use of winch and Hilift Jack, sand ladders (sand mats), various improvised techniques, cable rigging, righting rollovers

5 - Field Repair - Basic Field repairs for various Platforms (see our vehicle fleet), tire repair, bead repair, radiator repair, brake repair. All field logical and field "doable".

6 - Trail Leader - how to lead a trail with 4x4 convoy group.

7 - Trainer 101 - this last course you will actually train novice 4x4 students while under the eye of OEX instructors.

That place looks pretty good, but I've been to this course and they're great guys with a wealth of knowledge. Give them a look as well. They're in WV.

Moorefield Training Center

Damn, may have to reach out to them as well.

Sounds like it could make for a fun mall commando day. ;)

The only problem with Overland is you need a private ORV area for them to do this. NC4X4 gets them to do an event every year. You should check on there.

Virginia

They have land in virginia where they do training. :) (that is why i picked these guys)
