Looks like my 22 37” package is arriving in a few weeks. Wanted some feedback on the truck.
I sold my 18 gen 2, picked up a 13 and fell in love. It has 70k miles, triple bypass rear with 2.5 front, icon leafs and a bunch of mods, drives like a Cadillac.
Im curious if the Gen 3 is worth all the hype or just save the $, and keep the gen 1.
Thanks in advance

I have a Gen1 that I love, and recently bought a Gen3. I think the answer depends on what you're using the truck for, and what your financial situation is like. As a daily driver, the Gen3 is a much nicer ride, and I personally love the tech/interior VS the aging first generation. I'd take Gen3 all day for a daily driver over the Gen1. Can't speak much to offroad comparison as I haven't taken the Gen3 out yet (going to Pismo dunes in April), but the Gen1 is still great out in the sand and has always performed well in it's element.

Gen 1 has been really reliable/low maintenance even with the hell I put it through, so if you're happy with it, prob best to save your money and stick with what you're enjoying.

Gen3 all the way.. I've owned all 3 and the only thing the Gen1 has on the Gen3 is nostalgic value for those of us who grew up on it or bought it day one.

I'm also going to come out and say the Gen3 sounds better stock vs stock. Yes I said it. The exhaust note on the new Raptor is intoxicating, and not more intoxicating than the stock TRX but compared to other V8s and older systems the sport sound of the gen3 whipping down the road is flippen awesome.

My only other comment to this is - if you love just beating the ever lasting **** out of the gen1 then keep it until you're done having fun. The Gen3 will be around for a long time, but you're unlikely to want to beat the **** immediately out of a $90k truck.. but even I beat the living crap out of my gen1 when I bought it brand new.

Thanks guys! Appreciate the insight.
Its just going to be my daily and lugging around the 3 kids. So sounds like I need to get on listing my Gen 1.

Im gonna get ragged on for this, but depending on your adm, if its low, i would buy it and flip it. It would be smart investment to take.
Youd be surprised. Ive seen these drop to the high 90’s due to fuel prices here in Ca. Were north of $6.00 a gallon
Regardless of financial position, $300-$400 a week in fuel adds up

Don't sell it until you have the new built and on the way to the dealer. It could be another year or more before you can get anything you might order today.
Not sure if you've been keeping up on this craziness of the waiting game.
