This may be one of my first mods. I HATE gray plastic. It's more of a PITA to keep detailed than BLACK paint is to keep clean!

I'm undecided though if I want to just get them painted blue flame, or get them painted a similar color to the gray plastic they are now, just in gloss. Like a mineral gray or something to keep the 2 tone look.

Suggestions/ideas/photos?

I have this same question. I think the 2 tone is the best way to go but not sure if grey or black would look better. Hoping for some pics on here.

Paint them a gunmetal to keep the two tone, but you'd have to paint all that grey with the gunmetal... But I think it would look sick. A little darker, but not grey. But, so far of all the colors, when the fenders are cot matched, it looks great, I don't think you could really go wrong... Be a pioneer... Lol

I was originally going to have mine done flat black but a buddy that works for a body shop happened to be painting a old bronco the same flame blue so they hooked me up on doing the fenders for cheap. I figured I can always have them re-done. But I ended up really liking them. I get a lot of compliments on it and it sets mine apart from the few other blue raptors I see driving around my area.

Next is powder coating the stock rims black.
Below is a before and after I did with photoshop to see how I want everything to look:

I wish were closer so I could see the truck in person. In pics it does look superrrrr clean, but it kind of hides the flare-ed-ness of the fenders a bit. That may not be the case in person though so thats why I wish I could see it painted in person. The gray they really stand out as flared out which is why I was thinking of keeping 2 tone look.

I wouldn't have to paint all of it, but I'd certainly want to lol. I'd definitely do the SVT vents and flares all at the same time. Not sure on the hood vents, do they remove easily? As for the door handles I'd love to do them blue to match.
