I just ordered this as my current F150 antenna always smacks my garage door when I pull in and I don’t want the new Raptor doing that when I get it next month. I don’t listen to a lot of normal radio, most streaming music from iPhone or satellite but I do check AM once in awhile for weather, news and traffic. I live 50 miles outside Detroit so very urban terrain.

Anyone have an experience with this brand?

I bought a few different ones and that's the one I ended up keeping.
The 4" ones had really crappy reception but this one worked much better for FM reception.
I'm in the north burbs of Dallas.

Same issue here. Need a new antenna. Based on what people say I’ll order this one as well

Looks larger then the CravenSpeed Stubby Antenna that was all the rage here at FRF a few years ago (there is a installation video here at FRF for those who may not know how to install it) so it may get better reception. I only use AM for my right-wing hate talk-radio shows and the Stubby works OK. Both cost the same...

After getting annoyed with the stock antenna smacking into the garage door, I got the CravenSpeed Stubby Antenna (only mod on the truck thus far) and it works just fine, IMO.

I have been using a Cravenspeed .50cal antennae for a couple years and have no issues with reception. Plus it looks badass
