The stock one well...looks like a *************...I went through several before the Stubby from Craven as well...

I would have thought it would have been integrated with the "wart" on the roof...

you probably wont notice too much of a difference in reception if you are listening to fm radio. and if the radio station broadcasts is strong, or you are close to their tower. you will however notice a substantial difference in am reception because the ground plane is not working with the antenna.

I have the Stubby as well and also bought one for my Brother's raptor and we have no issue other than 1 station that got crappy reception anyway.

No problems here with a stubby. It's nice not hearing a loud wack when backing into the garage everytime.
