Another 37 package question regarding the graphics delete package

It’s just because Ford calls it the 37. If it were called anything else, the alternate name is what would be affixed in the required badging.

Doesn’t make a whole lotta sense. A lariat with 18’s vs a lariat with 20’s from the factory is not distinguished differently. I call bs until i see a valid source of this info.

My ordered 37 is a “graphics delete” pickup. So very glad that is an option, as it saves me time and effort with having to remove the obnoxious graphics myself.
When I configured the pickup online, I noticed the “37” decal on the back in the photos. I thought it was rather odd it remained, but figured it was just a glitch with the configurator. Fortunately it’ll be easy to remove if I choose to do so.

VERY hard to believe DOT, EPA, or any other government agency would dictate a body trim decal.
(Not that this government doesn't F' up everything that they touch)
I could understand some documentation and difference in the window sticker, mpg ratings, designation in V.I.N., but specific trim would be just an overreach (again, not like that doesn't happen, just hard to believe).

Maybe you should just call Ford? Lol Like @EMY92 said they discussed it in a video with Ford engineers when the truck launched. I thought it was due to the oversized tires but I believe it was actually due to the fuel economy(epa). Been a while since I have seen the video. I don’t have the memory of an elephant.

So they only add that tailgate sticker when the delete package is chosen? Otherwise, the 37 is just listed on the normal stickers?

Well, that's wheels, not tires, which have very minimal impact on how the vehicle performs. And I don't think it's really about just the tires, since the suspension and frame were also modified in the 37 package.

Although it does seem a little strange as I don't recall there being any badging between an F150 with V8 vs V6TT, which would obviously effect how the vehicle performs. Oh wait, they got that little Ecoboost badge on the tailgate.

I went back and watched the video from tfl and saw the quoted section. Makes sense I guess. Never thought the badges/stickers meant more than face value. Learn something new every day.

I call B.S. How can I order my Porsche completely debadged from the factory then? I believe this is also an option on some Mercedes and BMW models as well.
