08E1761C-6373-45E3-92D8-083E0B8AD1D6.jpeg Got this CEL about a week ago. No change in performance, running strong. Mods include ora 550 tune, full race IC, AFE CAI, borla mid pipes. Tried resetting it by disconnecting the battery and resetting codes with the tuner but it keeps coming back up. Nothing looks loose from what I can tell. Is this enough to trade in for the bronco?

That DTC set when the IAT sensor reading is higher than the self-test maximum ignition on/engine off or during engine operation. Possible causes are an IAT circuit issue, damaged IAT sensor, or connector/pin for issue.

Is this something the warrants making a trip to the dealership? I’m not very mechanically inclined but with some guidance I can hold my own, or atleast I think I can. Also I did notice that I’m wasting more gas than usual, could this be why?

Yes, that DTC can result in lower fuel economy. IAT is used to determine the temperature of the incoming air so that the PCM can adjust parameters as appropriate. Once that DTC sets, the PCM stops relying on the information provided by that sensor, at which point it needs to estimate the intake air temperature.

The IAT is easy to access. It is the small sensor located on your intake tube downstream of the air filter.

Would you happen to have the part numbers of the parts I might need to replace?
