I would think you can find a 17 with not crazy miles for about 55k or so. I bought my 18 three months ago brand new for 63k, SCREW 802A etc, so I bet if you look hard enough you can find one. Anything new will be mid to high 60s at best on a 19.

Just doing a real quick car . com search in the Houston area I can fins several 17's with 20k or so miles priced at 58k. So maybe you could get a few thousand off of that price. I don't think you will be able to get anything at 50k yet for SCREW 802a etc that does not have under 60k miles.

He wants one at 50K!!!!!!!!!!! He is not going to find a new one OR order one for that price. Anywhere. I don't know why these responses about invoice pricing and such.

To the OP, there are some 802 equipped Gen 2s out there in your price range. A quick Cars.Com search showed a few. Not a ton. A little leg work and you might find one.

Good Luck

Because the OP said he has a source that will let him order for MSRP. I was letting him know that he should be able to order one for 2k over invoice. That is where it came from. I didn't comment on the viability of buying a new one for 50k because new that isn't even reasonable.

If the Raptor assault course got you hooked you don't need a raptor. Granted the Raptor is a great ride but if you are looking for a truck to do what you did during the course you would find a Suzuki Samurai could get you up to 35 miles per hour just like your top speed during the course. The Suzuki will also scramble over the rock crawl terrain much quicker than you did during the course. Bet you could find a highly modified Samurai in the 5-10gs range.

You should be able to find a used 17 for that.
Thinking so, but it looks like mileage will be high.
you wont get a new 802A down to that but just as an FYI MSRP isn't a great deal anymore if you're willing to travel/ship it
Browsing here opened my eyes to this fact. Lots of stellar deals out there
I would be leary of a 17-19 802A for $50k. Do you have any connections that can get you into the auto auctions?
No auction connection, but you are right that I will have to accept some decent use in that cost bracket
You should be able to order one for $2k over invoice.

Honestly, it did!
You can, but you will need to travel for one and you will also have to be willing to accept one with some miles on it - most of these are 17s with 60k+ miles but are in that price range.

I think the mileage portion is what I need to come to grips with. It’s not so much that the car will not last, but most of the factory warranty will be eaten up.
Personally unless you NEED to have all the tech gadgets & plush interior I'd look for a "stripped" 801a or base SCAB Raptor new, leftover '18 if around, OR see if you can order a new one stripped down- could probably do it for $55-58k or so if you find the right dealer to sell for MSRP, you can get a SCAB 801a Raptor for $57.5k according to Ford's website. You get leather interior + sync plus the basic mechanical stuff all Raptors have.

$50k for a truck w/ 50-60k miles & likely first model year isn't something I'd do when I could get a new one w/ slightly less options zero miles & a full warranty for $10k more....especially SINCE Raptors hold their value so well in the first place relative to most other vehicles, YOU could be the guy clearing $50k in a few years for a paid-off Raptor you purchased new....
Unfortunately I have had stripped down models in the past and it always ended up making me wish I just got the factory options. I think the 801 might be something i regret in a year or two
2k over I voice is going to cost a whole lot more than 50k for 802A SCREW
True that
I saw one around where I live for around 55k and 802a. Area is Pensacola, FL mileage around 50k if I remember correctly. Looked well maintained.
This reminds me a lot of the Porsche market. Even with mileage they hold value. Just nervous about the warranty not having much mileage left

Haha. Good point as there are cheaper ways to get off-road performance. At the moment looking at what can get me performance, reliability and the comfort

Things developed rather quickly, and largely helped by the info I found here.

Was able to locate a new 19” 802A in Ruby Red for 4k under msrp. Local dealer and they have taken care of me in the past. Usually an ADM store but that picture of the out of state Father’s Day deal Carries some weight.

Also have a buddy with an AG 17 SCREW they has 20k or so miles. He wants 55k for it.

Now I am stuck between the truck i really want new for 68k. Also having the ruby red and new suspension.

Or my buddies 17 AG for 55k

Any thoughts from those now in a 19?
