Exactly why I don’t either unless I can see far enough ahead, dust trails etc. Problem is the MFING internet bringing the hordes. The real problem is kids in the side-by-sides. Always flying, never looking ahead and waiting to become a hood ornament. I took a few accidents like that, actually incident reports because they didn’t occur on a roadway. On one , old Bronco coming up/over blind hilltop, dirt bike coming at him. Never saw each other, kid was lucky as a MFER. Caught the LF of the Bronco, open fracture of the Femur (very painful) Broken arm in 3 places. Exactly why I try to run where there aren’t any folks . Getting harder to find thoughNice pics as usual. I love the long sightlines on several of those trails! That always scares me on the few trails around here where I could really carry speed, I don't, because you can't see what you are running into far enough ahead to be safe. I really don't want to be the guy that killed a hiker as I scream around a corner.
