Always remember the price of our Freedom is the Blood of Those that Gave The Ultimate Sacrifice!
Before hitting the Trail today I stopped by The Veterans Memmorial Cemetery in BC.
Any time I’m in the area, I try to stop by and spend a few minutes paying my respect

Nice pics as usual. I love the long sightlines on several of those trails! That always scares me on the few trails around here where I could really carry speed, I don't, because you can't see what you are running into far enough ahead to be safe. I really don't want to be the guy that killed a hiker as I scream around a corner.

Exactly why I don’t either unless I can see far enough ahead, dust trails etc. Problem is the MFING internet bringing the hordes. The real problem is kids in the side-by-sides. Always flying, never looking ahead and waiting to become a hood ornament. I took a few accidents like that, actually incident reports because they didn’t occur on a roadway. On one , old Bronco coming up/over blind hilltop, dirt bike coming at him. Never saw each other, kid was lucky as a MFER. Caught the LF of the Bronco, open fracture of the Femur (very painful) Broken arm in 3 places. Exactly why I try to run where there aren’t any folks . Getting harder to find though

Agreed. I have driven over exactly 2 people while rock crawling, when folks are where they shouldn't be. One resulted in a broken leg and a helicopter ride. The other guy fell and his leg landed between 2 rocks that my fronts went over, just bruises and ripped pants. All in my V8 crawler while repeatedly trying to bump it up over little waterfalls. I was looking at the sky and it happens fast. Yeah, we laughed about it later, but you never know. Very scary.
