We decided to check out the Overton Arm of Lake Mead for some new Kayak launch points. With the water level dropping as we speak, some new beach’s and launch points have been created
The “New Beaches” look very inviting to run the Raptor out on… but as you can see, this is exactly why I often walk a questionable area before venturing out. Flying Solo, this could make for a looonnnggg recovery
Even walking it I would bust through what appeared to be a solid, stable crust
