Safety Bulletin
This bulletin is intended to educate and inform our friends and customers only. You are not affected as we do not offer any systems that attempt to replace the EPB
We have observed a number of aftermarket companies offering brake upgrades or replacements for vehicles equipped with rear electric parking brakes (EPB). We advise against brake upgrades that attempt to replace the rear EPB mechanisms.

There have been a number of technical service bulletins and control system modifications by manufacturers with these components. In addition to potential unintended parking brake activation while driving, replacing the EPB may not allow an update to the control system and likely invalidate the warranty of the vehicles brake system.
