Gotta give props to the gents over at SVC! Tuesday afternoon they installed a frosty new Baja Bumper on the vanilla gorilla and damn does it look good! Special thanks to Jeff for addressing all my little quirky questions as well! End result... Baja Bumper with custom tow points, a black wrinkle powder coat finish and a 30" RDS bar!

Hell, the moment I pulled into San Diego Wednesday morning, I saw 4 girls slide off their chairs at the coffee shop and one let out more liquid than a woman ready to give birth. One girl walks up to me at the parking lot and says, "I wanna drive your Rap..." A quick backhand sorted her out quick, no one assumes they can touch the ******* wagon without my permission. I pointed to one honey in the crowd that had since assembled in the raptors glorious presence and she was in my arms immediately.

And the rush you get when you fire up the RDS? Its like the first time you take that double scoop of C4 Preworkout! The rush I got was so potent that my 13 inch ***** immediately went from 6 to 12 and the retinas of every peasant 500 yards in front of me was burnt to a crisp!

Basically... this is the bumper of mafawkin champions!

Pics tomorrow (Unless SVT posts some up... they took a bunch)

Wonder if you got my black skid plate that I gave up for a couple waiting customers so Jeff could take care of. Enjoy the bumper and curious to see where they put the tow points. I relocated mine back on the bottom of the frame. I didn't want them on the bumper.

Naw... I just have a plain aluminum skid. Id prefer a black one though! Didnt know such a thing existed! They welded the shackle tabs on the middle face of the bumper (the one place I didnt really want them)... which Im not really sure how I feel about yet... I really wanted them on the side of the mounting bracket next to the mounting bolt. Thats the one thing I kept asking on and didnt really get any response until I showed up.

Tow hook positioning is key for structural purposes. imagine pulling a truck with the hooks attached to the side of plate work, it is likely to bend it almost immediately

ahhhh... sheeet! I should have just done that! Would have been perfect for what I was using them for. Well I still can actually! I have the factory tow points hanging out in my garage.

Ya... just kinda regretting getting them welded on there.... bumper has such awesome lines and then BOOM! Shackle Mount! LOL! I should of explored some different options before I went all billy bad ass rock crawler worrying about recovery points. Ah well... wont be the first or the last time! I'll probably lop them off once I get it good and scratched up and it needs to be re-coated :D
