I bent it flush on a whoop last weekend but just bent it back. This is the first front plate i have had on a truck in EP in about 15 years and have never been stopped. I might just take the thing off unless I go east in Tex somewhere. but may mount like yours. Thanks for the suggestion. The D2's do not wash out in the camera at all. They work great.
