I spent some time on the beast today and got the ADD Venom front bumper installed. It was a pain to get properly aligned, but after some cutting and a BFG, I was able to get it straight. It seems that my truck body is 1/4" lower on the driver's side. I'm not sure if the body mount had been compressed, or not, the driver's side mount was 1/4 shorter than the passenger side. Anyway, I absolutely love this bumper. new! I ran out of time and didn't get the lights wired. I got it used and had it blasted and powder coated with a wrinkle finish. It looks brand What say you?ebude8uj.jpg6a4esy2e.jpgy3u9eduz.jpg

Looks good! I just installed my venom bumper last week and still haven't taken pics. I'll get around to it this weekend. Did you install the hood latch support brackets?

I'm looking Into a Venom bumper and was wondering why did you have to cut? These bumpers not a stock fit? And you have to have a hood latch bracket when you test ok bumper off? Thanks in advance

You shouldn't have to cut anything on the Venom. I had to, because it was rubbing on my upper valance. I had to lower that side 1/4". I think my truck body isn't level and that caused the issue. I figured it was easier to modify the bumper than the body. The hood latch is still attached to the rear of the valance. The valance was originally attached to the oem bumper and that gave it support. The Venom does not attach to the valance. I'm going to use a 1"block of rubber and attach it to the rear of the bumper and the bottom of the valance. This should hold the center up and provide a sort of isolation mount.

My stealth fighter bumper is also a 1/4 or so off on one side. It's and ADD issue they don't care to fix on there side. Also valance support bracket should be sent automatically from ADD for free. They did it for me after asking why there wasn't anything to support the valance. Their response was that I had to ask for it. A little hard to ask for something you didn't know was an option.
