I'm in the process of installing my ADD Venom front bumper and I have a question about drilling holes in the frame. The instructions say to drill two holes on each side but then just use one per side. I just want to make sure I'm reading them correctly, they do seem to be pretty clear but it still is rather odd. If so, I'll just drill one hole per side which will have me using three bolts per side (I bought grade 8 hardware).

Just drill one additional hole.

They told me you don't need to drill the extra hole. It is confusing because the directions and pictures very clearly indicate you need to drill 2 holes.

Perfect. Will just go with drilling 1 hole per side and get it mounted.

So got mine installed last night. However seems to sag/sit lower on one side. What did you all do to fix that issue? I have heard it mentioned before but does anyone have experience in resolving that issue. Any help would be appreciated.

I had to cut the bumper mount, a little. Mine was 1/4" higher on one side. I used a 3" cutoff and made two vertical cuts on the inside of the square mounting hole. Then I used a hammer to bend it up. This effectively made the mounting position lower on my frame horn.

I see, had to do part of this in the dark. I think I might be able to lift sagging side a bit on mine without cutting. It appears that that side is not sitting all the way on the frame horn. Hopefully that is my particular issue. I will update later on. fingers crossed.

My issue was the body bushings weren't the same height. Maybe it was torqued too much on one side, compressing the mount. It was easier for me to trim the bumper, rather than adjust the body. It could be your welds, too. Just a thought.
