My ADD bumpers are arriving later today so I'm prepping the truck for the install and have a few questions...

1. On the driver side above the frame rail there is a section of skirting similar to the stuff used for ducting the cooling system. There is no piece on the passenger side. Is there only one or am I missing one..

2. The bumper installation instructions make no mention of the hood release which needs to be disconnected from the factory bumper stiffener in order to remove the bumper. Does the ADD (Stealth model) have a mounting point for the hood release or does the stiffener assembly need to come off the old bumper and installed on the ADD?

The hood release and that assembly need to stay connected to the valance. Looks like you just took too many bolts off the wrong side. As for the flap I dont think anything is missing. There are valance supports that come with the bumper.

The hood release was mounted to a stiffener (for lack of better phrase) attached/within to the factory bumper. Once the skid plate was removed there were only the bolts on the frame rails to remove the entire assembly. Will probably make more sense when I see the bumper. Still waiting for the UPS truck

The whole Stiffner and latch assembly come off the bumper there are two bolts underneath you cant see in the pic. Then it bolts back up to the valance. You need the hood release stuff there.

The Valance is the plastic piece below the Ford grill that goes from fender to fender.

Ahhh...gotcha. Piece of cake. Didn't quite make sense since drilling the frame horn appears to require all that stuff to be removed

Of course these yahoos said they'd be here between 1 & 6 so I'm guessing 6. At the mercy of the weather now but shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to get it on.

Arrived. Front bumper only came with 6 1/2" bolts and nuts. Washer qty is OK. Can you ship my way? I should be able to live without them for a few days.

Yea it looks like one hole is unusable. Got it on in about an hr and 15 min. Apparently we had a shipping issue with the rear but the front is...well...

Stunning
