Looking for feedback...I purchased a ADD bumper and radiator. I also purchased the adaptive cruise control bracket relocation kit. I can not get my cruise control to work. There have been times where it randomly started working and it continued to work until I shut the truck off. Thereafter, it would't calibrate and work correctly, upon restart.

I have taken it to a Ford dealer a few times. Unfortunately, no success. Is there a precise angle or degrees pitch that I need to set the adapter at? Has anyone here been successful in keeping their cruise control and have the bumper/radiator package?

Thanks in advance.

I couldn't mount mine because of a light bar being in the way.

Personally I don't ever use the adaptive cruise control, I'm in CA so with traffic here it is a total waste!

It says to mount it in the nuetral position and ever so slightly adjust it down or up... small small adjustments .

Seemed like a pain to me!

My wife thinks I only have 3 guns

I had trouble at first, it would panic if I was passing a semi thinking I was going to crash. I tipped it down probably 10 degrees and now it works 95% of the time, and has only had two issues since. I should point it down more, but it is a pain to take the grill apart. Apparently it is a cone spreading out, and by tipping it down it doesn't look to the side nearly as much. The distance it stays back is a little less than before with the same settings, but still acceptable.

You should be able to turn off the adaptive cruise and it will work as a normal cruise until you can tip it down.

I knew why I ordered my truck without that option...as stated here in the Los Angeles area who can use CC with so much stop/go traffic...

When I put on my ADD bumper I also bought the cruise control adapter but never even bothered installing it.

1 - because it was a hassle to do and

2 - because I never use CC on any of my current or previous vehicles.

Glad I didn't bother now as I have seen a lot of people have the same issues you are experiencing.

I am running the ADD radiator.

Do you mean the ADD intercooler? ADD doesn't make a Radiator for these trucks.

If you're running the ADD intercooler, the ADD intercooler has a mount for the adaptive cruise control module. You do not need both the intercooler and the ADD Adaptive Cruise Control Relocation Kit. You only need the Adaptive Cruise Control Relocation Kit if you're not running the ADD Intercooler.
