I tried the foaming stuff on an Escape we had with A/C that stank. Didn't work. What did work was spraying about 3/4 of a can of lysol into the cowl intake area while the A/C was running. I'd switch it back and forth between full cold and full heat in between blasts of the lysol. The lysol smell went away after a few days. Never had an issue with it again.

Sounds like this is worth a shot. Do you know where the intake located on the Raptor?

Turn your blower to max and run your hand along the cowl. You should feel where it's getting sucked in. The best way would be to pull the cowl plastic and spray it right in the intake hole, which will be obvious with the plastic off. Not sure how hard it is to take off the cowl plastic on a 15+ F150 though- some Fords are cake, but some have a bunch of clips that can break and are impossible to find replacements for.

I did the Escape at a car wash so I could spray the Lysol residue off the plastic cowl after I was done.

Something to try is to switch between recirculated and outside air. Then you could isolate between the two intakes. If it doesn't go away, then it's in the ducts.

That's unacceptable. Activate the Starbucks mode (reffer to GEN2 manual). Once its activated drive it around the Starbucks or the local mall and that will unlock the coffee aroma. Problem solved. No more ***** smell.

I tried the Lysol tip and it seems to have helped for the time being. Drove it all morning with the AC on and there was no musty smell for the most part. It would start to come back when the engine shut off at a stop but no hint of it while the car was running, so I just disabled the start-stop function, which I normally do anyway when it's hot out.

I made several stops along the way where the engine was shut off for a decent while before starting it back up and it never came back... At least not yet.
