Those body's are hard to come by in good shape, and usually expensive. Would be wicked! Lots of those trucks have had coyotes swapped in, so there should be a kit available. Would be a sick truck!

Since you get bored quick (by my standards only) , build the one which will give you more return on your money if that's a factor. The early fords demand a lot of cash if done up correctly, but that big heavy frame will cost a lot in fuel to drive around.

Ha your not the only one that feels that way haha.

So the idea is that yes I would be looking at a resale at some point. Similar to the gen1 though some builds are hard to sell. So would the market be more or less for a ‘69 prerunner or a gen2 prerunner...

Oh yeah btw the gen1 sold....

I considered going a similar route on my wife's 64 f100 flareside 4x4. When I found how rare it was we decided to go more original. Only 802 made... It would be more fun to go the pre runner route, but resale I think would suffer and it would be a more limited market.

Just think how cool it would be though if the rear shocks came up through the flare!!

I’m sure there is a buyer for a F1 prerunner but agree the market is I’m sure extremely limited.

It would probably be best to run it caged right? Since no airbags? Maybe some PRP seats...

Maybe a foam steering wheel too, like that will help much, ha ha. You're building a toy, not a daily driver when you go that route. Trailer queen!
