holy thread revival.....

awesome job finding the thread though instead of making a new one. unfortunately bar hasnt been on here in a couple years. but there are lots of 6.2 owners here. i am not sure of this clunk, since i dont seem to have this problem... but has anything changed on your truck recently?
It’s not a clunk but more of a ticking, it sounds like loud injector tick, I can only specifically hear it in the cab, if I listen under hood it’s too noisy to actually pinpoint where it’s coming from, my truck has a Roush supercharger and 47# fuel injectors, its just bugging me, it runs/drives perfect but the ticking is annoying

How confident are you the ticking is from the engine? I had a ticking and it was from my AC defrost actuator. Maybe upload a short video?

Supercharged 6.2s have been known to crack exhaust manifolds; they’re not designed for F/I. I’d suspect that may be what you’re hearing.

Is the ticking while driving or sitting still? If it is both and increases as you excelerate most likely a pulley or tensioner. This can be found with a mechanics stethoscope. Place the tip near each Pulley on a flat surface. If it is only while driving it would be suspension related. In a safe location drive forward and have someone listen on the passenger side. Place the truck in neutral cut the truck off and let it coast forward see if you still hear it. If you do it is suspension related.
