That's funny, they copy protected a system that hacks/bypasses a major corporation OEM product. Surprised Ford didn't get involved and stopped that nonsense

Okay, I called and spoke with Brad
e85145091bb9bf5.png_srz_1174_707_75_22_0.50_1.20_0.png

He said it will NOT work with our front camera nor even work with our systems at all. It only works with units that have an HDD. The newer ones use the SD card for navigation. He was fully aware of the Ford Raptor front OEM camera and then told me that the only unit currently in the market is the NAV-TV, LOL.

I told him about FRF and he said they are working on a unit to work with the Raptor and hoping to have someone out by this summer. Said he was going to go to FRF to lurk. Hi Brad! :waytogo:

So there you go.

Thank you for the interest in the CANopener. I wanted to clear up some possible misconceptions.

The CANopener is designed to work with HDD based navigation systems made by Clarion for Ford. These were used from 09-14. The F-150's and most others started using a SD card navigation system (MyFord Touch - SYNC Gen 2) in 2013. As a result, the CANopener will only work in the 2009-2012 F-150's. Oour product will not activate a factory installed front camera, but will allow for the installation and activation of a retrofitted camera.

If you have any questions, feel free to email us at [email protected]
