3rd Brake Light Camera

I'm wondering if someone can tell me or do an experiment with the 3rd brake light camera. I'm curious what happens if you cover the camera with black tape or unplug it. Does the truck throw errors or do anything weird? Is it just a bed camera or is it tied into the 360 camera or back up camera? Anyone willing to do a simple test for me?

Mines been covered countless times and the truck doesn’t care. It’s not part of the 360 cam system either.

I’ve never unplugged it though
