Well I had ordered KO2s but luckily didn’t pay for it yet. Those appear to be E which I definitely don’t want. I’m sticking with an AT
Why not just stick with the factory 315/70/r17 then? Is there a benefit to the 35x12.50 instead?

They are ever so slightly larger but appear to be quite limited in load range options so I’ll be sticking with the stock size.

Yeah, I think they're about 0.1" taller (meaning you'd only gain 0.05" in height)...if you're really concerned about load range, looks like you'll have to stick with the stock size!

For those that are running the 35s (load range E), how does the difference in sidewall stiffness compare? Any difference in ride quality, noise, etc?

Mickey thompsons are the only tires I can see in 35's that are light and have a D load rating. Haven't seen many guys running them.

E is going to be better for crawling. You'll also have less "lean" on turns with the truck with the stiffer walls

I've been researching this and seems like the jury is split. Based on what i'm reading, E will be more durable and less prone to punctures, particularly on the sidewall, which is certainly good for crawling. But, it will also have a tougher time contouring to the rocks and potentially have a smaller contact patch because of it (bad cor crawling)

I ran load range D 315/70/17 Duratracs on my 2017. The ride was slightly firmer than the stock KO2s, but not as firm as load range E tires. Now that I have a 2020 I'm back on the stock load range C KO2's. The Duratracs are a little louder than KO2's but they are better in rain, snow and mud than the KO2's. The load range D Duratracs are also lighter than the stock KO2's.
