Exactly why I didn’t promote. I wanted to stay on the street. 27 yrs of Babysitting MFers in the Army I had my fill. #2 If I wanted to sit around and DO NOTHING…. I WOULD STILL BE A FIREFIGHTER L M F A O

At least you probably have the option of hitting the street when all your reports and budget bs etc. are done.

OUCH!

Nothing but love my brother, if I had it to do all over again, I would have stayed a Firefighter. Loved working the Engine and the Rescue. Loved the Medical Runs except the nursing homes. I did a lot CPR on Dead Folks because we couldn’t call them, ER Doc had to call it. My partner would never go first. He couldn’t take the Ribs popping from the sternum on the first few compressions gave him nightmares..lol
