airspace is the magic word. just because you can physically fit 3 woofers there doesnt mean it will sound good. if the speaker does not have enough airspace then the sound will not be quite what you would expect. you could do two woofers in a ported box, which will probably be a bit louder than 3 in a sealed box. do you have specs on the woofers?So the stereo shop. I was thinking about going with JL 13.5 Shallows under the back seats but nobody is crazy enough to buy the 13.5" W7 I have so may as well use it up till it blows.
The 8 will not produce the lower frequencies even if you have 4 of them. Also, when running the subs CLEAN power is the key. If there is not enough head room available then any speaker will be limited no matter what the size..
