I ended up going up with the Borla tailpipes only. About the same price as the ecoboost pipes but have the much nicer black chrome tips. Need to get some more road time (just installed last night), but really happy with the sound so far!
I’m on the fence with the Borla and 3.5 pipes. The video/audio on Borla’s website with just their pipes sounds pretty raspy and not so deep, so curious if your experience is different now that you have the Borla’s mounted. Thx!

That's exactly where I was too, tried to find someone local to me to hear either Borla or the ecoboost pipes. To my ear, it is perfect. Deeper and not Raspy at all. Does not sound like the clips I have heard at all. I am really pleased with it. Before installing, I would run exhaust in sport mode all the time, now its a bit louder inside the cabin on sport mode (I like it, the wife says its a little loud) and normal is about where sport mode was. Quiet mode is still very quiet.

Great feedback. You sold me on the Borla’s. I’ve always had great luck with them, and if I decide to go with their mid-sections in the future it will be a clean plug and play. Thanks for the feedback and happy driving!

I went with the 3.5 eco tailpipes and they sound great. Orderd them online and shipped free to a dealer close to me for pickup. Took about 1.5 hours for install recommend dropping the spare to make your life easier. I am not a fan of Borla's tailpipe tips so I opted to keep it as close to stock as possible just get rid of those stupid resonators off the back that make it sound so muffled.

Huge improvement on the truck. You can hear it inside the house when you start her up. Should have been this way from the plant. Fairly easy install can be done by yourself but a 2nd pair of hands would make it even easier

I like keeping things stock looking too but I really prefer the black chrome over the OEM look. They just look chalky and aged to me but the black chrome tips are just nicer looking to my eye anyway. But it’s good that we have options so we all get what we want! Bottom line is both sound so much better than stock.

What was the part number for the tailpipe?

Disregard, I think I found them.
