Hey Guys,

New here I ordered my first raptor in November of 21 at MSRP of 77,489 and heard no updates until a couple of days ago when I got a email from the dealership that read “   I was told today that Ford cancelled your order. We priced a 2023 spec'd the way you ordered it and the cost is $88089 without the bed liner or a plate. Do you want me to reorder it?” what do you guys recommend I should do am I screwed as I was completely devastated by this news. Thanks for all the help in advance!

Was it a 37PP? I may be wrong but it seems that most people that post about orders getting canceled may be 37's?

What's your question?

You either want a Raptor or you don't. Your 22 got cancelled--get in line--happened to a lot of people.

Will you get a 23 even if you order it--who knows. Will you get one if you don't--no.
That was a mean snarky reply. But unfortunately it was truthful.

I ordered a 2021 Platinum and this is the same convo/call I received from my dealer. Truth is the dealerships are in the dark almost as much as the people buying trucks. I was forced to a 2022 model year and a much larger price and ultimately a lower trade in value. But Ford made good on my original order. I ended up with over $4k in procing incentives because I had a deposit down on a 2021 order that Ford couldn’t deliver. But it is important to note that those rebates were private incentives that apply to specific folks which found themselves in the same position I was in. Some stealerships were/are not passing the rebates to their customers and end up pocketing the difference. I was lucky enough to get educated and ultimately asked my dealership, so they could not take these for themselves. The dealerships risk is that they get a complaint and audited… And if Ford finds dealers doing this it is bad bad bad news for the dealership owner.

In summary, I wouldn’t cancel. Hold your order and make sure to research the rebates Ford is offering for customers with orders that were forced to push. Hold your dealership accountable and know they are clueless to any Ford rebates that are not already available to the public.

Best of luck!!

If you ordered your Raptor before February your price is protected no matter if they cancel your order or not you need to call Ford customer service and reconfirm all this and don't rely on the dealership because they don't want to help you out you go in there knowing what you talking about they have to honor the price good luck
A couple of periods (.) would help. Run on sentences are never good to read. Just looking out…

Yeah, basically, out of luck. Ford is basically producing only “ordered” trucks now and Raptors are by allocation only. So, in order to actually get a Raptor now, you have to:

1) know someone at Ford Corporate
2) be a celebrity
3) 1 & 2
4) know a stealership with an allocation who will take your order and ethically deliver the truck to you without changing the terms of the deal
5) 4 + be willing to wait 8-15 months for delivery after ordering.

Basically, the Raptor has become a boutique truck. I can get a Ducati race bike easier than I can get a new Raptor and if you have any idea how difficult it is to secure products form an Italian manufacturer, that’s saying something.
6) Pay an ADM and be driving one in a weak for sure, for what a 2023 will cost if you get one.
