Modern vehicles are a rolling computer. Tons of potential issues.
You're exactly right! I just disconnected the battery for a few minutes and everything was back to perfect. That doesn't happen with a failed brake booster..

My entire point regarding the post, was to make everyone I could aware of this potential danger, that could easily kill LOTS of people. I sure hope Ford addresses this very soon.

Yes.. I have reached out to Ford, everywhere I could find. Going to the dealer is a waste of time (typically). Those service writers are taught to NEVER accept "blame" or even acknowledge a problem like this exists on behalf of Ford!..Ever.

So all you'll get is the same old ******** from your local dealer.."I've never seen this before.. we've never had a vehicle do that before..we can't replicate the problem...blaaa blaaaa blaaa"

"OWNED" hundreds of cars..Yes! Pretty awesome right?? Are you so envies that you can't help yourself from making such an ignorant crack??
You’re damn right I’m envious. In the past 10 years I’ve only owned 20 or so. 4 new Raptors. Lost count. But hundreds? Is that 100? 200? More? New vehicles? Old junkers? Combination? Enquiring minds want to know.

As for crack, never touched the stuff.

It would not be surprising if it relates back to a low/weak battery situation. Lots of unexplainable stuff dealing with a better that is not up to FULL capacity. Just driving it around does not help with that.

I believe something is amiss with the Electronic Brake Booster (EBB) at the vendor/part level. IMO…Ford should do their due diligence and evaluate/closely track the failure trend of this part…prior to a recall being initiated by the Feds.

In February…the EBB failed on my 2025 802a Raptor with 133 miles on the clock. Fortunately..it crapped out in my driveway. These are the messages I saw on the infomat screen:

Antilock Brake Fault
Hill Start Assist Warning
Pre-Collision Assist Not Available

The truck was placed on a flatbed truck and taken to the dealer for repair. I was told the replacement EBB was on national back order…along with another 22 orders waiting to be filled. Possibly a dangerous failure trend??? It took six (6) weeks for the part to arrive. I was close to pushing the buy back button.

Hopefully…this information helps someone else. I certainly hope no one gets killed because of this part.
