yeah i noticed that on my truck i just dont want to pay for it when i head to dealer or for them to think its my fault
If Ford released the bulletin about it, i don't think you should have any issues at the dealer. It's obviously a known issue. I have yet to take mine to the dealer but i have to have it fixed on my truck too. It seems pretty widespread

My dealership did not push back when I texted them a video/pictures. I am sure they know about this issue. The part is just on back order, but will be covered under warranty.

I guess I should take mine in for the rear sensor too. It always goes crazy when I put it in reverse.

Interestingly, the service department tech was able to recreate the issue with the rear sensor but the sensor isn’t sending any error codes and is communicating correctly with the controller so instead of replacing it today, he just opened up a ticket with their help desk. I certainly didn’t have that on my bingo card.

More and more often this is all they do. It’s a frustrating waste of time.

Coming from a 2021, the 2024 feels just overall better notably the transmission shifts are much smoother.
^^This was the first thing I noticed coming from my 19. Overall, quality has been good. I do have the fender flare gap on the driver's side front. Wouldn't really bother me but I off-road a lot and can see dirt/mud getting packed in there and not easily cleaned/removed. Gonna try and see if I can't get it to clip in tighter and if not may have dealer look at it but that would be down the road a bit.

It’s definitely a subpar customer experience. My time is valuable and I shouldn’t be spending hours in the service department for problems with a truck that has 600 miles on it.

With that said, i’m willing to give them some grace with my focus on getting these bugs worked out. The truck really is a pleasure to drive and a lot of fun to own. I’m lucky to be in a position to be able to purchase it.

I am going to order a Raptor one more time (possibly another 6.7 HO) if it comes in with botched interior trim, seats, paint, etc. I am going to go with a 2500 AT4X. I hate the android infotainment and the comfort of GM seats is lacking.

I love Ford but I don't want to spend X amount of money on issues that should be resolved before leaving the plant. Time is money and I don't want to have to deal with the hassle of addressing defective or incomplete truck right off the truck. All manufacturers have went downhill since (insert inflation, shortages, lack of qc, COVID)

I have not experienced anything electrical myself mainly the trim issues and the tailgate appliqué. all fixable and I agree the

Unfortunately yeah it is most manufacturers that lack in the QC area. The only brand that I ever had with no quality issues is Porsche.

While I agree that I am not happy about the trim issues since I will have to waste my time getting a fix (my tailgate appliqué issue should have been caught during the dealer PDI), those should be easy fixes. I probably could pop the trim in myself, but I don't want to run the risk of breaking anything (if they break it they replace it). On my 2023 the one thing I hated was the thin paint my fenders. It was Oxford white and near the headlights on both fenders you could see that the paint was barely applied it almost looked like overspray.

My friend has an AT4X and it is a solid truck I personally like the design, but the raptor just feels more solid off road. to me.

I would use either to avoid using the brake when hitting speed bumps or the occasional gravel road.

GM paint is horrible. My 24 Sierra looks like it has 60k instead of 6k. Ford has/had much better paint....except the "unseen" areas. The seats are the worst part of GM trucks but I think all manufacturers want to make your rear end hurt now.
