Hey there,

Just wondering what everyone else's opinions are on the standard leather seats. I felt like it was pretty comfortable for the first year and the I don't know if I changed or my seat has changed, but I can barely stand to drive it for short periods. I am 6'1", 250lb guy, and it feels like my upper thighs are getting pressed. Starts to hurt pretty bad. I have no complains with my back. I have recently lost about 10-15lbs, but I would not think it would make that big of a difference? Maybe I have just lost weight in my legs/ASS area and I don't have enough fat for cushioning? My buddy at work as a '24 reg cab/short bed 4x4(already has his whipple about to bolt on) with cloth seats and it doesn't bother me as much. Anyone have any experience or thoughts around this? I don't really want to get rid of this truck, but if I can't stand to drive it, I'm gonna have to. I thought about trying to find Recaros, but I am not sure that will be much better if it is the same seat frame?? I drove the truck at Raptor Assault all day and it didn't bother me then (w/Recaros), but that was late 2023.

(I have done alot of searching and I just haven't found the info I am looking for)

6'3 265 and I find the seat more comfy than my 23 Lariat was. Put the 15 lbs back on. Problem solved.

I have had both seats. I find the Recaros much more narrow in the thigh bolster.

The Recaros are more firm, and more comfortable. If you like to drive spread eagle, you might want to sit in a truck with them before jumping in.

I would be willing to get the Recaros to see how that goes, but finding a donor truck I think would be near pretty hard unless some of you fine 37 folks would like a set of basic black leather seats and some cash? :) I drove around in a 37 truck all day at Raptor Assault and had no issues that I remember. The only way I would want to get a new truck with Recaros would be an R and I don't think I am ready to spend R money.
