The "thunk" downshifting at lower gears has all but disappeared. I think I experienced it once but it wasn't nearly as pronounced as it used to be and the transmission was cold (early morning). Ultimately, if you're taking in your truck into the dealer, ask for the PCM update!</blockquote>
