Did not order locally. They want to much over MSRP here so I found a dealership in Daytona Beach, FL that let me order at MSRP. I'll either fly down and drive it back or have it shipped. Interested how it'll be to drive a Raptor in NOVA.
Even Front Royal Ford?
I know the bubble stealerships think they’re selling trucks with platinum infused paint or something....
So, driving a Raptor in NoVA has its privileges. Like a sea of brake lights ahead; wait for a break, hop the curb to avoid the collision and ensuing backup, backtrack and move on with life while peasants in their volvo/merc/bmw/hundai/etc sit, stewing in their own thoughts awaiting the end of the backup, you are happily on your way elsewhere.
Stupid drivers will still do stupid things around you, of course, but you will be less concerned about it. You should invest in an air horn or train horn however. The stock Raptor horn is WEAK. I got a Marco direct drive air horn kit and it’s significantly louder. Not train horn loud, but very good and more effective.
