You're missing the point. If you're using all available power, fuel consumption will be the same. You need fuel to make power. The advantage of the EcoBoost is that when you're idling or under part throttle, fuel consumption is much less because you're only fueling a 3.5L V6. When you want/need the power, the turbos provide it. That's not an option with a V8, especially an F/I one. You need to fuel all 8 cylinders regardless, and the S/C is a constant drag on efficiency.

You're not addressing ordinary ignorance, you're addressing willful ignorance. That takes the game to a whole new level. I'm pretty sure that you need to level up. Logic and data are of no use. Time to get medieval.

Entertaining and LONG thread-

Quick issue- With Ford now coming out with 37's being an option, what are they upgrading to make the drivetrain live with those? Because last time I checked if I put 37's on my '19, I would void my warranty with a drivetrain failure. Interesting what once was absolutely forbidden is now an option......

There is a brand new frame that has been one off specifically built for the 37 inch package, also different suspension. Ford specified that there are two different frames between the 35 inch truck in the 37 inch truck. The raptor is not just a trim level of the F150. It is its own animal.

You sure you don't mean aluminum body? Never heard of a truck frame made out of aluminum.

Yeah I was just reading about that on MTs site.

Not surprised they had to modify the rear to fit 37s lol, but that if you order a 35 inch truck you'll be SOL if you go to 37s and think, "hey ill just stuff a 37 under the truck". Plus both 35s and 37s have different shocks.

Guess we'll really have to comb through each option to spec a truck just right.
