I wouldn’t say cushier, but it keeps the “boaty” feel of the stock suspension. I personally don’t enjoy all the body roll, nose diving, etc of the stock suspension which the Eibach gets rid of.

Do you have the 2.2/1.5" springs in stock? Do you need to make any computer/module adjustments for ride height? My TRX had to have adjustments for the parking sensors going from a 35 to a 37" tire. Do the Fox live valve shocks otherwise function normally (i.e. suspension modes)? TIA

To answer your other post, stock springs are progressive, Eibach is linear. The stock would absorb bumps smoother but at the expense of potentially getting squirmy over the bigger hits. Eibach would react quick due to the linear spring design.

What would work better going down a desert road with big bumps, ruts and unexpected sudden drops that cause suspension to top out, as well as bottom out with surprise whoops

Springs, for sure. They’ll react quicker.

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents for any interested buyers. Disclaimer; I don't work for Eibach and I do not have a Gen 3. However, I currently have a Gen 1 and previously had a Gen 2, both on Eibachs and both running 37s. I was one of the first Gen 2 owners to give Eibachs a try over collars and could not have been happier with the results. I used Eibachs countless times for lowering cars and they were always spot on with stance and driveability so I knew I wouldn't be disappointed in trying their lift springs. My Gen 2 saw plenty of offroad and air with the Eibachs/37" combo and never a problem. I would highly recommend them and @NEOGARAGE.

So which would yall recommend for living in BFE WV with no desert running, no dunes to play on, just potholes that will swallow a small car, and horrible roads? Springs or collars?
This new 23 is my dd/work truck, so lots of road driving. Won't be doing any offroad unless I take it to our place in OBX.
I would just like to get rid of the 2+" of rake I have and retain oem ride as closely as possible.

I was apprehensive to do eibachs as I put them on my 2020 live valve Raptor and they rode terrible. Stiff as a board and topped out the strut hard all the time as they had like no down travel. They provided like 1.7” of lift though, instead of the 1” on the new Gen 3.
The Gen 2 springs were so bad I took them off within a week and just disabled the live valve and threw on a set of Kings, now that was a pleasure to drive with the Kings.

I have a friend with a Gen 3 raptor and RPG collars with 2.25” of lift. I thought his truck would ride like garbage when he gave me a ride, but I was surprised that is rode pretty well. So I assume the 1.5” lift collar would be even better. Howver based on what Neo is saying, I am more than confused. I just wish Fox would get off their ass as make a set of adjustable coilovers already for the new Gen 3

To be honest, for your use collars would suffice, but like I mentioned earlier I don't enjoy the nose diving and body roll with stock springs that is retained by going with collars, so eibach tends to be the route I always go and recommend due to the improved ride and drivability.

The stock ride is good, but Eibach stepped up their game in the last few years and got the spring rates and lift heights right with the gen 3. I think the ride improves even more with springs that aren't stiff as a board like the gen 2 spec are. I know this feeling. I had them on my 2019, it was good, not great.
