I recently purchased a brand new 2020 Raptor Screw with the 802A package. When I picked it up with 42 miles on it the Lane departure system worked flawlessly it had all the appropriate alerts and colors and vibrations. I have all the sensitivity on normal and I just have it on the Alert function only with no aid. about a day ago I have noticed that the system doesn't vibrate my steering wheel when I get close to the lines, and the lane indicators do not illuminate any color now at all but still recognizes a vehicle in front of me. I am wondering if there is anything I can do without having to take it into Ford for service. Appreciate any info/help

Also just to point out, I was traveling over 40mph, I haven't had a new windshield installed and no mods on the truck, and the lines on the road are very definable, weather/sun isn't the issue since they are the same roads that I travel on a daily basis and the truck used to recognize them in the past. Have also cycled through all the options for the lane departure system just to see if the alert and aid function would do anything and it didn't, and finally I know that the system that recognizes a vehicle in front of me is a sensor system not the camera system.

Sorry, no suggestions but you should be happy that lane departure feature doesn't work. My ex-wife had that crap on one of here cars and it was annoying as hell.

Oh yeah I don’t like it either, but I’d like to have the option of turning it off, Rather than it breaking on a 2 week old truck.

There's a button that toggles the system behind the shifter. Check that first.

Yeah I checked that and it didn't do anything, I pulled the fuse for it and that worked. I guess when in doubt just pull the fuse. Thanks for the help.

I would turn function on and off via the button on the console right in back of the shifter

Haven't played with it much, but I believe it can be set to intervene, alert, or both in the dash menu settings.

Doesn't seem to do a particularly good job of anything in my 2019. But maybe I haven't figured it out yet (500 miles on truck). Doesn't seem to do much good on under-construction socal 405.

Mines very sensitive. Like it doesn’t trust me and on many sharper turns it may initiate the turn for me. I’m thinking the system is more sensitive in our trucks due to the width of our trucks and being a little closer to the lines. I paid for the feature so I still leave it on lol. Could have value in the right situation.

My 2019 does not vibrate the wheel, just turns you back into your lane poorly. I assuemed Ford removed the vibrate feature since it was so annoying. If you take your hands off the wheel it will only keep you in your lane for 4-5 bumps and then it lets you wander off.
