Been drooling over getting a Raptor for about 10 years now. Ive decided that its finally time to pull the trigger. Ive found, what i consider, my dream truck. 2020 Leadfoot with 802A, heated rear seats, and nothing else. It has just shy of 2,000 miles and is priced at $61k which is about $8k less then anything ive seen in my local area (Washigton State). The truck is located about 2,000 miles away so i would need to ship the vehicle to my house. I have zero experience in shipping a vehicle so if anyone has any reccomendations id be glad to hear them.

The price to ship seems to be right around $1200 which still is cheaper then buying locally. I feel like ive exahsted all resources looking at simlarly optioned vehicles but came hear to ask for advice and input on buying a vehicle sight unseen. The carfax states it was delivered 1/20/2020 and then it lists the dealership as its owner at its current mileage. If you have experience in this department (i.e. what to look for and what you wish you would have inquired about before signing) id really appreciate hearing from you.

Is this price commesnurate with what youve seen either locally in your area or when you purchased yours?

Small caveat to add to all of this, im out of the country for an unknown amount of time. Is this deal worth pulling the trigger on if it was you or should i wait? I truly welcome any and all opinions and appreciate your time/advice.

Like Rick said, it seems most of the Raptors without the moon roof end up being Raptor Assault trucks or test mules. Very rare to find one in the wild without the troublesome moonroof.

I don’t know how to guide you on a sight unseen purchase, but it’s dealership owned... Has it been titled? It should still have the 3x36 warranty but if untitled it would be good though 38k I think. Numerically, it doesn’t sound bad and if it ticks all your boxes, pursue it.

Maybe you could do a video chat with a sales-bot or get some high res pictures all around?

I have a 2019 802A with out a moon roof and I love it! No Roof is very rare I had to order it to get one and did not want to deal with the possible rattle or leak issues of the moon roof. I did add rear heated seats, Tail gate step, Beadlock wheels and the best thing is the Recaro blue seats.

If its dealer owned it could be a Demo the dealer owner is driving. Seems like a fair price.

I was just as impressed when i realized that there was no moon roof. I have one on my current F150 and the only time i ever use it is when i test it out to make sure it still works. I contacted the dealership after i saw RDFTS's post (long time follower here, great truck man) so we will see if/when they email me back. I have read through all the fine print i can find and the dealer/doc fees total right around $200. WA tax is slightly higher then TX so ill end up paying just a little extra if/when im able close a deal and register it at my home station.

I honestly dont feel like its a bad price at all, and while lower is always preferred, id be happy at that price if they maybe threw in the warranty (not sure what it has yet) or possibly threw a bed cover on it and got it out the door.

I forgot to add it has the spray in bed liner already in, other then that, just 802A, and rear heated seats.

That seems cheap to me.. I would want to look it over really well to see if it had been in an accident... you can't count on CarFax.....

Agreed, its not such an absurd price that i have a bad gut feeling, but im very skeptical as we speak. Just received an email from a salesperson at the dealership and I'm going to ask the basic five W's about the truck.

CARFAX states it was titled on 2/13 as a personal vehicle with a loan, oil change at 1300 mi, then on 3/30 the title was updated/issued. Currently offered at the same miles it was listed on the CARFAX on 3/26.

a lot Raptor new for 61 k,2019 and 2020 in WA

I have searched CL, FB Market Place, Auto Trader, and Cars.com with no luck finding such a deal in/around Washington. If you know of a dealership or ad more local id really appreciate if you could lead me to their website or post the link here. Thank you for your time.
