Good luck mate
My gen 1 driver’s side mirror shook since day 1.
Replaced twice with no improvement. Ford let me down!
Have a theory that the driver’s side mirror (towing glass) is too heavy for the housing therefore it vibrates. Passenger glass is just plain Jane simple and steady at all times.

#1 thing that drives me crazy on my truck

So i went out and pushed the button to close them. Only the passenger side closed. So i pushed it like 4 more times and it eventually closed. Then I repoened them and its not shaking anymore on a drive. Weird. Maybe someone closed it manually and didn't reopen it at some point all the way.

Ill keep an eye on it.

I noticed the same thing during my test drive before purchasing that the passenger mirror was loose and rattled when hitting small bumps. The dealer looked at it and said the tightened it all the way. When I used the auto fold the first time it made a popping noise after they adjusted it and it definitely made it tighter and less noticeable. Doesn't bother me now. If I still feel it, it feels like there is a little play in it but I don't notice it while driving.

Same on mine. The driver side catches more air and shakes a lot (mirror glass). Drives me up a wall...

My 2019 I just got has the driver side mirror glass shaking issue. Anyone else? I think I am going to have the dealer look at it unless there is a new quick fix known, but I rather not jocky with it and break it on my dime.

If it's anything like the euro cars I have, the mechanism is cammed and allows for redundancy as its poor design wears out; if you fold them in with the motor, they're meant to be opened with the motor, not manually. If you pop them out manually, they way it works with my other cars, it's meant to move to the next redundancy on the cam mechanism, which aligns with the post about opening and closing a few times before things start behaving as expecting.

Mine are nice and solid.
