Hello out there Raptor World,

I have owned two Raptors, a 2010 and a 2013. Both were great, I would give the edge to the 2013, but I found the leather in the 2010 to be far superior. Anyhow, thinking about taking the plunge again for 2017. I am not crazy about no V8, but am looking at it a bit more open minded now.

My apologies if this has been covered prior. Any ideas on availability? Order bank opening? Or anything at all?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you look at the 2017 section of the forum, there's more threads on the new truck than you can wrap your brain around. Good luck wading through all the ******** though.

Lots of guys have taken pictures of the new test models they see, and so on. Take a look there and you'll get your fill of 2017 info.

Residents in the Washburn, VA, area must be a bit ****** this morning due to getting hammered by the snow, so I will heed everyone's advice and take the positives out of the post! Yes, after reading certain posts and replies, it made me think of certain people on this forum that were not worth losing any sleep over, whether it was under a rock or not! I think it was sarcasm man. Lol if you read a little deeper into the 2017 forum you'll see why.

Everyone with a V8 should be grateful for the new ecoboost. V8 value should stay high because of the new motor. It will be the same as air cooled vs water cooled 911s. "Purists" will always say the previous are better instead of accepting change. It is very disappointing to see so much negativity being covered by the guise of sarcasm and all the 2017 posts closed.
