Best to wait a year. Dealers will be asking a premium over MSRP even if it isn't a limited production. There will always be price is no object buyers the first year. A lot of dealers in CA were asking $10,000 or more for the first 2 or 3 years of production. But there were some selling for $500 - $1000 over invoice if you ordered and waited a few months.

UAW source says yes to the new Bronco but may be more towards 2019/2020

What's the hold up? Just can't understand why they would wait so long...
I say they get production going while gas is cheap!

Well the Ranger has been known for a while but from my understanding the 2nd vehicle (Bronco) was worked into the contract so a majority of the UAW would approve it. It shows a second vehicle within the 4 year period of the contract but not what they would have. The only thing everyone is going off that it is even a Bronco is the 'unnamed uaw' speaking off the record. If somehow they try to speed up the 2nd vehicle, I guess we'll all be happy but I'm just glad to unofficially hear, that it may actually happen this time, even if it's in the 2019 to 2020 timeframe.

No need to wait a year. Production will catch up to demand likely in the first few months killing the greedy dealers' premiums.

I wouldn't wait to get a gen2, I bought one of the first gen1s, just waited for the 6.2 to be available and ordered the bitch. If anything, the raptor took off and then the dealers started putting the big mark up on them, especially in Socal. Not sure if that will be the same scenario or not this time around. I would think FORD pays a lot for market research and knows exactly whats going to happen with the gen2, they have back up plans if customers don't like certain options, etc, hence why they always wait until the 2nd and 3rd production years to add on options.
