The Day has finally arrived. I'm picking up my Raptor today. Flying from San Diego to Vegas to pick it up. Excited to get it, not excited for Ford dealership incompentancy.

How long will it take from my arrival to driving the truck off the lot? My guess is 3 hours.

It always takes longer than they tell you at the dealership, 3' is pretty accurate.

Have them do all your paperwork ahead of time. I was in and out of the dealer in less than 1 hour. Made deal on the phone and had never stepped foot in that dealer before.

I owned a 2013 Gen 1 Supercrew that I sold prior to coming oversees. It was the the best truck I have ever owned. No, I wont miss the 6.2L boat engine-- it did its job with no hiccups, but is an archaic boat engine--and no I won't miss the "Hillbilly" exhaust note. Go listen to a Chevy V8 and you'll know how a V8 is suppose to sound like.

Okinawa actually. But I broke my helicopter in Iwakuni and stayed there for a week. You live there? That place is the nice. (since the F-35 money arrived.)
