Really interested in seeing your new set up, Mike. I'm trying to get some old strip mining property (several hundred acres) for us to run on some time this year, but winches (especially moveable from front to rear) would be a great idea. They took a bulldozer thru the peaks years ago and make some AWESOME trails, but a winch would be handy, especially solo when "pre-running".

The area has since matured (mother nature and trees have reclaimed the area) but it is a beautiful set up.

I did buy 3, but one is already in Big Blue so the others are for delivery.

Ironically, I did some independent research in deciding the best, lightest, most cost efficient Winch and low and behold, that's the Winch TJ currently has...

My set-up is Mobile however versus a permanent mount. My Winch is mounted on a mobile rack, I ran a 25' winch extension line to the rear bumper and will use my receiver hitch for the mounting point. I then made a custom receiver hitch bracket in the bed for storage when not in use. When needed, it will literally take 30 seconds to mount and plug in for use and the same time to remove and store again.

Was great meeting everyone today. Good to put a face with the name. I appreciate the invite and look forward to future meets.

Up until today, I thought you were just a myth, a legend, an internet troll (J/K). Great finally meeting you. I know you're usually running short on time when you're thru Elwood, but if you get spare time (especially at lunch tme) give me a call when you're in the area.

I think I managed to at least introduce myself to everyone around the table (especially those who found me on FB before they knew who I was on here ;)). Now I know real names but not all FRF names so I still don't know who all of you are!

It was nice seeing everyone and yet again getting my dose of ShooterAMG one liners. @Crikk also needs to work on getting Matt to pull the trigger on a truck! :waytogo:

Thanks again @13raptorscrew ! Great to see and meet many new faces again (some better looking than others:ROFLJest:). We need to get together again soon! -your friendly neighborhood raptor crack dealer

I said it was nice meeting everyone too but @knine and @FITZ must have really made an impression on you in that snuggly corner you guys had.

...and we missed you @Chris's FX4

...and I had an empty passenger seat too. Henry (pug) had my passenger floor occupied but he may have been willing to give that up and ride backseat. :)
