So I'm seriously considering purchasing this 2013 Screw and thinking of installing a Whipple or Roush SC. It already has the Roush exhaust. I have 5 questions.
1)Is an engine with 60k miles too old to install a SC? It has never been off-road. All highway miles.
2) How much does the gas mileage change?
3) What Whipple or Roush package do I consider?
4) What other engine mods do I need to do when installing a SC? Transmission cooler?
5) What can I expect to pay in labor to have it inspected?
Thanks for any help/advice.

1. No. The 6.2 is stout. My dad installed a procharger years back on the 5.4 engine on his expedition at 90k miles. Truck has over 220k now and still on stock engine/trans. Used to surprise lightnings with it.
2. I installed one on my scab raptor. Na mileage was 13mpg. Post roush 11-12mpg.
3. Go whipple from jdm.
4. Can get a bigger heat exchanger if you live in a hot climate. Oil pump gears for peace of mind.
5. Inspection or install?
lol no close, EmBraer
Thank you for all the advice. Last word was "installed". No idea why this word check program wipes out the word you type and puts in it's word du jour?
I think install for my truck was under 2k with the oil pump gears included. Think in the 1600-1800 range. Was trying to find the statement but no luck so far
Thanks. Which kit did you chose? Looks like there are 4 Whipple kits.
