Update for anyone interested:
I've been unable to get my truck into the dealer since I've gotten back to midland. Called last Friday to verify if there would be a mechanic at the dealer on Saturday who could look at my truck after I described the problem. Told me the front suspension/steering guy wouldn't be in but I could leave my truck and they might get to it late Monday or maybe Tuesday.
No thanks. I have no alternative method of transportation and cannot leave my truck sitting there 4 days before they 'might' get to it.
Called yesterday to confirm if a front suspension/steering mechanic would be there on Saturday (today) after I described the problem I'm having. Was told that he would be there and would be able to look at it.
I show up today 10min before they open and describe the issue I'm having to the service representative. He asked/confirmed that I'd be leaving it and told him no I would wait. He told me the front suspension/steering mechanic wouldn't be in until Monday. I proceeded to tell him that I had been told 15 hours earlier that this mysterious mechanic would be there and would be able to look at it if I got there when they opened. He leaves and comes back and tells me that there might be someone there that may be able to look at it today. He never gave me a straight answer and I had no reason to believe that it would in-fact be looked at today. I also did not believe that the actual mechanic that would diagnose the problem was even there.
Before I left I asked how they accommodate or help customers that cannot leave their vehicle or do not have an alternative method of transportation. He could not give me an answer. They also do not take appointments and would not make an exception when I asked. They only operate on a first come first serve basis year round. That doesn't work very well when the back-up is 3 or 4 or 5 days. I personally think there are much better ways to operate to help customers that cannot leave their vehicle for days. No loaner vehicle was offered either.
There's one other ford dealer in nearby Odessa that I will try but I am not sure when I will be able to do that. So for now hopefully I can learn more about this problem myself.

So update on the actual problem:
Very obvious Knocking/popping/rattle/vibration/shutter heard and felt in the steering wheel and steering column when turning the wheel left and right (mainly left)
Rattle/shutter felt in the steering wheel and steering column when going over all bumps of any size (expansion joints, cracks in the road, etc)
Vibration/shutter also felt in brake pedal and gas pedal when turning and going over all bumps.
These are all generally felt all the time but they are 10 times as bad when it is 80+ degrees outside or the truck has been driven for more than 15 minutes or so.
I also feel a lot of "noise" in the front suspension when turning over a bump or going over a bump straight. This began when the issues above began from what I can tell but I may just have noticed it more given the feeling I felt in the wheel.
I'm clueless as to what it could be. Any advice would be appreciated. Sorry for the long posts.

Crawled under the truck this evening to look around. Is this considered a leaking rack?
