So I think I'm pretty sold on getting a raptor. I'm not in any rush in getting one since I work outside of the states and I am only home every few months. I figured I would see what you guys suggested if I should just go ahead and order one now or wait until the 2013 is available to be ordered. Also Screw or Scab? I'm leaning towards screw since I only have a regular cab truck right now and I don't have any kids. My dad on the other hand said that I would not regret buying a scab and the extra space will defiantly be nice. As of right now I'm thinking of ordering a scab with luxury package any other suggestions or must haves?

FIRST WELCOME!!
I think you have your thought process backwards

Scab = Supercab 2 door with rear suicide doors

Screw = Full 4-door

Both have 5 1/2 foot bed

Screw on LEFT - Scab on RIGHT

Think of it as having enough room for your whole CREW or just enough with a smaller CAB....set in my head perfect with that way of thinking

damn it I did get backwards lol I guess if they both have the short bed then maybe the extra 3 grand or so may be worth the extra space.

I personally love the scab, the shorter wheelbase and cheaper price is awesome (+ im just a ext. cab kinda guy). Only reason Id go with a screw is when we start having kids, other then that if people wanna ride in the back thats their risk lol

I'm pretty sure the blue accent interior is not available for 2013. Randy can confirm. If you were considering that, you'd need a 12. I love the blue accent interior, it is very tastefully done.

There IS an accented interior available on the 2013, but we don't know if there is a color change or not.

Yea, I love my scab. My 2 previous trucks were crews but I rarely had passengers so I got the scab and love it. The blue accent seats and interior is very nice as well!

The crew cab is a huge truck, drives a bit heavier, and just looks out of place from seeing scabs these past beginning years. To top it off, SCrews get about .8-1MPG less than the SCAB from what I've read on the site from other members.... I mainly wanted my truck to fit in my garage and I never ride passengers unless it's my lady friends. They can fit in the SCAB very happily! I like being closer to the women anyways, haha!
