I'm just about ready to install an inverter system in my 2010 raptor. The 110volt outlets I puchased from Ford are 3 prong, but the wiring has 4 connections. I'm sure the 4th connection is for the Green LED thats on the face of the outlet. I need to know where this gets power from and voltage for the LED. Also is the factory inverter in the 2011's on all the time or is there an on-off switch. If anyone has the wiring diagram for the 2011 inverter system please post it, it would be greatly appreciated. I plan on doing an install writeup when complete.

Thanks for the help.

Are you installing the factory inverter and outlet? If you are, this would be a great tech article. I would like to do it to my 2010 also, but was told the wiring harness was different.

Holy shit, you're from Parkersburg? My best friend was born and raised there, or in Elizabeth or something. Small-ass world. I wonder if you know her!

Sorry the inverter is not factory, but the 110 outlets are. I'm installing one of the outlets up front passenger side console and one in the rear of the console just like the factory install. My inverter will be of a larger wattage than the factory unit.

I going to do a writeup with pics, but I haven't started the install yet, still trying to get my ducks in a row before kicking off.

Yes the harness is different, but my dealer is sourcing pigtails through ford for the outlets. The outlets have recessed plugs on the backside making it nearly impossible to solder the connections. If they are not able to find the pigtails, I will have to do some Dremel surgery to the outlets to gain access to the terminals.

The way the parts guy explained the harness to me, it's a through away. If a connector or wire burns up, you can't just replace that part, (Ford doesn't make replacements) you have to replace the entire harness, which is a major suck-o-la. Ford has done this to save money.

do you have the part numbers for the ford 110 factory outlet?

Guys sorry for the delay on this, I have been busy getting my truck repaired from a minor accident. I do have the part numbers for the outlets and will post them in the next day or so. I purchased two of the outlets from ford, they were hard to find, we had to cross reference them from a super duty. Also Even the ford dealers cannot get the paint for the factory bumpers and flares, Ford will not supply them with a paint code, the dealer had to bring in a computer paint matching guy to match the color of the front bumper and fender flare, the good news is it's a dead nut match, side by side with the old bumper and existing flare you cannot tell any difference at all. Cudo's to Astrog Ford.
